Album Reviews:

  • Lamb of God - new LP Wrath (Roadrunner, 2009) - " originate from Virginia, United State of America. Often described themself as truly sound of American metal and importantly, this band does fill the gap between 80's thrash metal and death metal sound. Wrath, is another breathe of fresh air that you need have it album. It is much the same way as you felt the first time you heard Machine Head's The Blackening.

History:

  • Review the important band of 90's shapping the sound of Seatle. Soundgarden, the 1st Seatle band sign with Sub-Pop and influenced Nirvana front man, Cobain, to do the same. From album Screaming Life/Fopp(sub pop) to Superunknown (A&M), less than five years, Soundgarden proof that local rock/punk band can conquer Billboard.

Going Underground:

  • Review of Inferno Festival, Oslo's renowned extreme metal festival. Attracting Gorgoroth, Vader, old legend Morbid Angel, Enslaved,Samoth from Zyklon, classic old trashers like Sodom, Destruction, Kreator and many more. Without a doubt, the most celebrating year was, when Emperor, playing their full length show after retirement in 2006. Taking place every year in Bergen, its now into its ninth year, mirroring black metal's journey from Social Pariah to a major culture export.
